Mechanical Project Engineer
Mechanical Project Engineer required to join a large M&E contractor on a Pharmaceutical project in Dublin. Our client has projects in Ireland, Europe and the UK and work across many sectors including Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Power, Waste to Energy, Commercial, and Petrochemical so they offer their Engineers excellent opportunities to develop a broad engineering skillset and also excellent career progression opportunities into senior positions.

Responsibilities/Duties
- Assist with the preparation of technical and contract documentation for issue.
- Monitor progress against the program and issue progress reports.
- Liaising and co-ordinating with clients, other members of the design team and contractors on technical issues.
- Liaising with the BIM department and overseeing the coordination process to transform design information into full installation drawings.
- Managing all technical queries on site and assist project team in all site mechanical engineering issues to include: the management, the planning, the testing and commissioning and the handover of all project systems.
- Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate program of assigned engineering work and projects.
- Assemble bid, approval, and construction issue drawing packages.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the design and efficiency of processes, recommending change if necessary.
- Estimate cost, reliability, and safety factors.
Qualifications / Skills
- A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- 1-2 Years post grad experience within the Irish market.
- Previous experience in the Data Centre, Semi-Conductor or Pharma sector would be an advantage.
- Must be proficient in MS Office. Additional IT skills in AutoCAD, Revit and BIM360 would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Engineering standards (CIBSE, BSRIA, ASHRAE etc).
- Fluent English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
