Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Dublin (Hybrid)
Salary: €40,000 – €55,000 DOE
A leading international multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Dublin office. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects across sectors such as workplace, healthcare, education, leisure, historic, and residential.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver innovative mechanical building services design solutions from concept through to handover.
- Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and other design professionals in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Support senior engineers with feasibility studies, option appraisals, and detailed design.
- Contribute to the development of sustainable building solutions, including renewable energy and passive design techniques.
- Utilise design software such as IES, Revit, and CAD to produce high-quality project outputs.
- Attend site inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and monitor project progress.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering (Masters preferred).
- Full or working towards CIBSE Membership and Chartership.
- Strong technical expertise in building services design and sustainability solutions.
- Proficiency in IES, Revit, CAD, and general IT applications.
- Proven track record in delivering successful projects across different scales and sectors.
- Excellent client-facing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Results-driven, resourceful, and committed to professional integrity and collaboration.
