Mechanical Engineer (Pre-Construction) required for a Tier 1 M&E contractor based out of their offices in Dublin. The successful Engineer will be responsible for supporting the pre-construction team for several Data Centre Projects in Ireland and Mainland Europe.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with designers to enhance detailed design proposals.
- Review the project design and investigate alternative construction approaches.
- Analyse the construction methodology to reveal program implications and temporary works needed.
- Collaborate with the supply chain to establish subcontract packages.
- Assess subcontract proposals and generate a technical/commercial analysis for preferred bidder selection.
- Examine project logistics to determine required temporary works for construction and management.
- Define site setup and compound, detailing preliminary project requirements.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, crafting mitigation plans.
- Explore different aspects of the project and tendering procedures.
Requirements:
- A degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
- 4 years+ post grad experience.
- Experience working on large construction projects is advantageous.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Fluent English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.
Benefits:
