Mechanical Design Engineer (Senior) – 13163
Mechanical Design Engineer (Senior) is needed to join a well-established and progressive engineering mechanical and electrical consultancy in their Dublin office. This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead a team of passionate and experienced engineers. Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks is essential.
- Design of HVAC systems, piping, and mechanical containment.
- Performing calculations for system sizing, load analysis, and energy efficiency.
- Preparation of detailed mechanical design drawings (ductwork, piping layouts, equipment installation, etc.).
- Reviewing and verifying mechanical drawings for accuracy and compliance.
- Conducting site visits, liaising with clients, and coordinating with mechanical contractors.
- Estimating project costs, including completed and additional works as necessary.
Requirements:
- The successful Mechanical Engineer will have a degree qualification in Building Services
- 4+ years of Mechanical Building Services Consultancy Design experience.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Revit
- Proven experience of delivering detailed designs through the full design cycle.
- Excel at working on several projects simultaneously and show the ability to prioritise and plan work.
- Commercial sector knowledge/experience.
- Building Information Modelling (BIM) experience will be advantageous.
