Key Duties:
- Assist in the development of mechanical designs, drawings, and 3D models in line with project specifications and healthcare standards.
- Collaborate closely with the project team to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems into hospital environments.
- Perform calculations and simulations to optimize mechanical performance in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Contribute to technical documentation, ensuring alignment with codes, standards, and best practices for healthcare facilities.
- Participate in design reviews, site inspections, and risk assessments, with a strong focus on quality and safety in healthcare settings.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer with an Irish consultancy.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; Revit experience is advantageous.
Salary & Benefits:
- Basic salary circa €50K to €60K – DOE
