Our client is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to join the team dedicated to installation and construction within a large data centre in Dublin. The ideal candidate will be an experienced mechanical construction manager, who is comfortable managing a large team and project.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, construction, installation and commissioning of mechanical systems in the data centre
- Liaise with contractors, clients and consultants to coordinate project activities
- Ensure quality and safety standards are achieved throughout the construction process
- Manage project timelines and budget, ensuring efficient use of resources
- Manage and coordinate the installation of all mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping and plumbing, fire suppression and environmental controls
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations and industry standards
- Provide clear and regular communication with senior managers regarding progress on projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical construction management
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping and plumbing systems, fire suppression systems, and environmental controls
- Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects from design through to commissioning
- Excellent leadership and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of local building regulations and industry standards
Benefits:
- Salary circa €75,000 – 95,000 – DOE
