M&E Quantity Surveyor
We are currently recruiting an M&E Quantity Surveyor for a leading engineering services company. This role is based in Kildare and involves tendering major projects across Ireland, to work on a range of Data Centre, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare projects.

Responsibilities:
- Review contracts to ensure compliance and identify commercial or legal risks.
- Manage procurement activities to secure materials and subcontractors efficiently.
- Monitor and control project budgets to meet financial targets.
- Prepare monthly cost reports, valuations and management accounts.
- Improve commercial processes to boost project efficiency and profitability.
- Review key correspondence and address contractual issues promptly.
- Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations and final payments.
- Maintain strong client relationships and agree final accounts.
- Provide commercial support to project teams on cost and risk matters.
- Assist with tenders by preparing estimates and commercial inputs.
Requirements:
- For this M&E Quantity Surveyor a third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics is beneficial but not mandatory.
- 1 year experience in Quantity Surveying or a similar role.
- Solid foundation in quantity surveying principles with a proven track record of successful project involvement.
- Strong operational awareness and keen attention to detail in all aspects of commercial delivery.
- Effective presentation and general management skills to support client and team engagement.
- Excellent written communication and negotiation skills to secure strong commercial outcomes.
- Ability to multitask effectively and manage a high volume of projects simultaneously.
Salary:
- Salary €40,000 – €55,000 DOE
