Key Responsibilities/Duties

• Coordinate the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of the Project Quality Plan and system inspection/test plans in line with client specifications.
• Interpret and communicate contract quality requirements to the project team and supporting functions.
• Provide guidance on quality implementation requirements and ensure adherence to company and client standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters between the project team and the client.
• Coordinate the development, implementation, and maintenance of inspection and test programs, including scheduling witness points on a system-by-system basis.
• Manage client attendance at inspection and witness points in line with the project contract and handover programme.
• Oversee the resolution of all quality issues at both project management and supervisor levels.
• Coordinate the handover of quality records to the client on a system-by-system basis.
• Promote quality awareness through training sessions and benchmarking activities.
• Support a structured approach to systems handover and project completion.

Requirements:

• Electrical/Mechanical Trade Background and/or a Third Level qualification in Building Services Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in a QAQC role is essential, also 2+ years in a lead role.
• Good Knowledge of Electrical installation and commissioning.
• Strong communication and management skills, with the ability to clearly relay information to project staff and deliver comprehensive reports on progress and completion.
• The successful Electrical QAQC Lead must be in Ireland or the UK and be eligible to work in Europe.
