We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Estimating Lead to join our dynamic team. The successful Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for managing all aspects of the tender process, from initial enquiry review to post-tender clarification meetings. The role requires a highly organized individual with excellent time and workload management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct an initial enquiry review and provide input to the decision to tender
- Take ownership of all tenders in flight and ensure they are completed on time to meet tender return deadlines
- Prepare a tender plan and coordinate all associated activities and resource inputs
- Evaluate costs including take offs, suppliers, and specialist subcontractors
- Manage the estimating database and ensure it is up-to-date and accurate
- Represent the company on site visits and during client facing interviews and post-tender clarification meetings
- Provide monthly reporting on tender status
Requirements:
- High proficiency in Excel and a base knowledge of mechanical plant, systems, and material streams
- The Mechanical Estimator must have excellent time and workload management skills
- Experience with Amtech Trimble software is an advantage, but not necessary
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to represent the company in a professional manner
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to take ownership and responsibility for the tender process from start to finish
Benefits
- Salary circa €80,000 to €90,000 – doe
