A well-established Tier 1 main contractor is seeking a skilled Setting Out Engineer to join their team for a prestigious project in Dublin City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile development with one of Ireland’s leading construction companies.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Perform precise setting out and surveying for construction activities, ensuring alignment with project specifications and drawings.
- Work closely with the Site Manager and Senior Engineer to ensure all technical aspects of the project are delivered to the highest standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including daily site reports and quality assurance documentation.
- Monitor progress on-site, resolving technical issues promptly to avoid delays.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth site operations.
- Implement strict Health and Safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety on-site.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with building regulations and project requirements.
Requirements:
- 1+ years’ experience in a Setting Out Engineer role
- Proficient in the use of total stations, GPS, and other surveying equipment.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant engineering qualification (degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field).
Salary and Benefits:
- €40,000 – €50,000 DOE
