An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team in Meath. This role offers hands-on experience in residential and commercial projects, working closely with senior team members to develop your QS career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior QS with managing subcontract packages, overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Support the preparation of monthly valuations, internal cost reports, and budget tracking.
- Report on variations and maintain subcontractor and supplier contractual details.
- Undertake tasks to develop experience and responsibility progressively.
- Contribute to multiple projects, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
The Candidate:
- 2+ years post-grad experience with a PQS or contractor.
- Experience with RC frame, apartment, residential, or commercial projects is desirable but not essential.
- Strong IT skills; proficiency in Cubit, CostX, or equivalent, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel.
