Junior Construction Planner
A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking a Junior Construction Planner to join their team for projects across the Dublin area, starting just before Christmas. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with some construction experience who wants to grow their career in planning within a supportive, high-performing company.
The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time on-site, supporting project planning activities and gaining hands-on experience in programme management, reporting, and construction coordination.
Duties:
• Assist in developing and updating project programmes
• Monitor progress on-site and report delays or issues to senior planners
• Support the preparation of lookahead schedules, dashboards, and progress reports
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
• Ensure planning deliverables meet company and client standards
• Learn and develop planning skills under guidance from senior planning staff
Requirements:
• Some construction experience (site or project-based)
• Interest in construction planning and willingness to learn
• Good organisational, communication, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Positive attitude and ability to work on-site across multiple Dublin locations
• Available to start immediately or on short notice
Salary & Benefits:
• €35k–€40k depending on experience
