Junior Mechanical Engineer required for a Tier 1 M&E contractor based out of their offices in Dublin. The successful Engineer will be responsible for supporting the pre-construction team for several Data Centre Projects in Ireland and Mainland Europe.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers to refine detailed design proposals.
- Evaluate the project design and explore alternative construction methods.
- Assess the construction methodology to uncover program implications and required temporary works.
- Engage with the supply chain to create subcontract packages.
- Evaluate subcontract proposals and create a technical/commercial comparison for preferred bidder selection.
- Analyse project logistics to identify necessary temporary works for construction and management.
- Define site setup and compound, outlining project preliminary needs.
- Identify and address project risks, developing mitigation plans.
- Explore various facets of the project and tendering process.
Requirements:
- A degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
- 2 years+ post grad experience.
- Experience working on large construction projects is essential.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Fluent English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.
