A leading engineering consultancy in Dublin is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join its Building Services team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid grounding in electrical design who is eager to grow their expertise in sustainable building services and environmental performance. You’ll work alongside senior engineers on high-profile projects in the healthcare, education, and commercial office sectors.

Role & Responsibilities

Assist in the development of electrical design solutions for buildings of various scales

Support environmental performance assessments such as daylight and overheating analysis

Contribute to the design of energy-efficient electrical systems

Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams

Attend design meetings and site visits with senior team members

Participate in quality checks and ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes
Requirements
-
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering

2–4 years of experience in electrical services design, preferably within a consultancy
-
Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, Dialux, Relux, or similar tools (IES experience a bonus but not essential)

Understanding of Irish building regulations and sustainable design principles

Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

Actively pursuing chartership (support will be provided)
