Responsibilities/Duties:

• Carry out commissioning activities on HV electrical systems and equipment in line with project requirements and industry standards.
• Perform SAP (Senior Authorised Person) duties, including HV switching, isolations, and issuing of safety documents on live networks.
• Support project teams by leading on-site commissioning until other engineers achieve AP (Authorised Person) competency.
• Execute and document HV testing procedures, including FAT/SAT and on-site functional/performance tests.
• Review and validate commissioning documentation such as Test Protocols, Compliance Statements, and technical reports.
• Work closely with the Health and Safety Officer to apply and maintain HV Safety Rules on site.
• Participate in daily and weekly project coordination meetings with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Assist in identifying training needs and contribute to knowledge transfer within the commissioning team.
• Provide technical input to ensure project milestones and commissioning deliverables are achieved.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of HV systems into live networks.

Qualifications / Skills:

• 3+ years of industry experience.
• High Voltage commissioning experience is essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
• A valid, clean driving licence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Goal-oriented with strong people skills.
