HSEQ Advisor
A leading civils and utilities contractor is seeking an enthusiastic HSEQ Advisor to support multiple projects across Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive HSEQ professional to join a dynamic team and play a key role in maintaining high health, safety, environmental, and quality standards on-site. The successful candidate will have experience in civil or utilities construction, be confident in implementing HSEQ protocols, and be flexible regarding site locations.
Duties:
- Monitor HSEQ compliance across multiple sites.
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Assist with environmental and quality compliance activities.
- Liaise with site teams, contractors, and local authorities regarding HSEQ matters.
- Attend site and project meetings to provide HSEQ input.
- Maintain records and prepare reports as required.
- Ensure safe work practices are followed by all personnel.
- Support head office HSEQ initiatives and provide updates.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in HSEQ roles within civil engineering, utilities, or groundworks projects.
- NEBOSH/IOSH Diploma or equivalent health & safety qualification.
- Knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices in construction.
- Understanding of environmental and quality compliance within construction.
- Flexible and willing to travel across Dublin project sites.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Eligible to work in Ireland.
- Full driving licence.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary circa €60k–€70k
- Company vehicle / travel allowance
