HSEQ Advisor

A leading civils and utilities contractor is seeking an enthusiastic HSEQ Advisor to support multiple projects across Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive HSEQ professional to join a dynamic team and play a key role in maintaining high health, safety, environmental, and quality standards on-site. The successful candidate will have experience in civil or utilities construction, be confident in implementing HSEQ protocols, and be flexible regarding site locations.

Duties:

  • Monitor HSEQ compliance across multiple sites.
  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Assist with environmental and quality compliance activities.
  • Liaise with site teams, contractors, and local authorities regarding HSEQ matters.
  • Attend site and project meetings to provide HSEQ input.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports as required.
  • Ensure safe work practices are followed by all personnel.
  • Support head office HSEQ initiatives and provide updates.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in HSEQ roles within civil engineering, utilities, or groundworks projects.
  • NEBOSH/IOSH Diploma or equivalent health & safety qualification.
  • Knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices in construction.
  • Understanding of environmental and quality compliance within construction.
  • Flexible and willing to travel across Dublin project sites.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Eligible to work in Ireland.
  • Full driving licence.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary circa €60k–€70k
  • Company vehicle / travel allowance
