Health & Safety Officer
A Health & Safety Officer is required for a leading main contractor to work in Dublin City Centre.
Duties:
- Ensure safety is a priority across all site activities.
- Monitor, evaluate, and act on any Health & Safety conditions, promoting improvement and prevention through advice, education, and enforcement of legislation.
- Assist the SHEQ Manager in assessing staff safety development and training needs.
- Support company Health & Safety audits and attend meetings as required.
- Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and update the company safety statement.
- Monitor and contribute to company Health & Safety policies.
Requirements:
- Professional Health & Safety degree qualification.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience on construction sites.
- Proven track record of maintaining accident-free sites.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, and SafeT Cert is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project-related software.
- Full driver’s licence required.
