Our client, a well-established contractor with a strong reputation for delivering top-quality construction projects, is looking for an experienced Health and Safety Officer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to travel to various sites across Carlow, Wicklow, and South Dublin, working with a company committed to maintaining the highest health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.

Identify hazards and provide solutions to mitigate risk.

Develop and implement safety plans, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.

Deliver safety training and inductions for site personnel and subcontractors.

Maintain detailed safety records and assist with incident investigations.
Requirements:
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Health and Safety role within the construction industry.

Strong understanding of construction health and safety regulations.
-
Relevant health and safety qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.).
-
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
-
Ability to travel between sites in Carlow, Wicklow, and South Dublin.
