Health & Safety Lead – 8873
Health & Safety Lead required to join one of Ireland’s largest Tier 1 contractors for a Data Centre project in Dublin. The successful candidate will be reporting directly into Group Health & Safety Manager and will be responsible for managing a team of Health & Safety Advisors and play a pivotal role in developing, implementing and overseeing safety protocols on the project.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a robust safety program aligned with regulations.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate safety into daily operations.
- Stay updated on safety regulations for compliance.
- Conduct audits and take corrective actions as needed.
- Identify and assess workplace hazards, mitigate risks.
- Deliver comprehensive safety training to all staff levels.
- Lead investigations into incidents, suggest preventive measures.
- Maintain emergency response plans, conduct drills.
- Foster open communication on safety between management and staff.
- Develop and distribute safety materials.
- Promote a culture of continuous safety improvement.
- Regularly review and update safety policies based on incidents and trends.
Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- NEBSOH Construction Certificate or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a comparable position.
- Experience working on a large-scale Data Centre project (or similar) would be beneficial but not essential.
- Capable of collaborating and maintaining relationships with internal and external clients.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in using safety management software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
