Health and Safety Officer
A Health and Safety Officer is required for an established contractor to work on civil engineering and utilities projects across Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Health and Safety professional to join a dynamic team and play a key role in maintaining high health and safety standards on-site. The successful candidate will have a background in construction, civil engineering, or utilities and be confident supporting the implementation of safety procedures across multiple sites.
Duties:
- Monitor health and safety compliance across project sites.
• Conduct site safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of company health and safety policies and procedures.
• Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and relevant stakeholders regarding safety matters.
• Attend site meetings and provide health and safety guidance where required.
• Maintain safety documentation and prepare reports as required.
• Ensure safe work practices are followed by all personnel on-site.
• Support incident investigations and help implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in a Health and Safety role within construction, civil engineering, or utilities.
• NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH, or equivalent health & safety qualification.
• Knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices within the construction industry.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in Ireland.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work across multiple sites in Dublin.
• Eligible to work in Ireland.
• Full driving licence.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary circa €50k–60K (depending on experience)
