Our client, a well-established and reputable civil contractor is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join their dynamic team based in North Dublin. This crucial role will involve overseeing health, safety, and environmental management on-site, ensuring full compliance with legislation, conducting risk assessments, and implementing safe working practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety management, with proven experience in delivering safety training, conducting audits, and managing safety on civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety procedures on-site.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Manage safety audits, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Deliver health and safety training programs and promote a safety-first culture.
  • Liaise with external regulators and inspectors as required to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in health and safety management within the civil or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: €45,000 – €55,000 per annum.
