Our client, a long-standing and reputable civil contractor, is currently recruiting a skilled Health and Safety Advisor for an upcoming project in West Dublin. Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all on-site activities fully comply with health and safety legislation and company policies.

Carry out frequent site audits and inspections to identify potential risks and enforce safety measures.

Prepare and implement risk assessments, method statements, and health and safety plans.

Deliver training and ongoing support to site personnel and subcontractors on health and safety matters.

Investigate incidents and near misses, maintain detailed reports, and advise on corrective actions.

Work alongside project managers and senior staff to reinforce a proactive health and safety culture.
Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Health and Safety Advisor role, ideally within civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

Solid understanding of construction safety procedures, legislation, and industry standards.

Relevant qualification such as NEBOSH or equivalent.

Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage site teams.
-
Well-organized, proactive, and detail-oriented approach.
Benefits:
