Based in Dublin, this is a senior leadership role reporting to the Director— ideal for an experienced professional ready to shape and lead health & safety strategy at a company-wide level.
The Role

Lead the Health & Safety Department across all company operations

Develop and drive company-wide H&S strategy and culture

Ensure full compliance with Irish H&S legislation and best practices

Conduct regular audits, inspections, and site visits

Liaise with senior leadership, site managers, and external stakeholders

Provide expert guidance on risk assessments, training, and safe systems of work
-
Respond to incidents and lead investigations with corrective actions
-
Manage and mentor a team of safety professionals
-
Continuously improve safety processes, documentation, and reporting systems
Requirements
-
8+ years in a Health & Safety role, with at least 3 in a senior or leadership position

Relevant third-level qualification in Health & Safety (e.g. Level 8 Degree / NEBOSH Diploma)

Strong knowledge of Irish health, safety & environmental legislation

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Proven ability to influence positive culture change at all levels

Experience in the construction or civil engineering industry is highly desirable
Salary & Package

€90,000 – €105,000, depending on experience
