Graduate Structural Engineer – Dublin

A great opportunity has opened up for a Graduate Structural Engineer, ready to step into a more senior role with a respected engineering consultancy with a strong reputation for innovative and well-delivered design work.   • Commercial & Office Developments – new builds, refurbishments, adaptive reuse
  • Residential & Mixed-Use Schemes – housing, apartments, urban regeneration projects
  • Education Facilities – school extensions, refurb projects, campus developments
  • Healthcare Projects – primary care centres, clinical facilities, and specialist units
  • Public Realm & Infrastructure – small bridges, retaining structures, remedial and improvement works

Duties:

  • Assisting in structural design and analysis across a broad mix of building and infrastructure projects
  • Working closely with senior engineers, architects, and contractors to develop practical, efficient solutions
  • Preparing drawings, calculations, reports, and technical documentation
  • Supporting projects through concept, detailed design, and construction stages
  • Carrying out site visits and inspections alongside senior team members
  • Contributing to a collaborative, learning-focused environment as the team continues to grow

Requirements:

  • Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (Level 8 or equivalent)
  • Up to 1–2 years’ experience is welcome, but motivated graduates at the beginning of their career will be considered
  • Interest in structural software such as Tekla, Tedds, Robot, Revit, or similar
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in structural design
  • Positive, proactive, and keen to learn from an experienced team
  • Based within a reasonable commute of Dublin
