My client, a top Building Contractor based in Cork are now searching for a Foreman. This client has an excellent pipeline of work with projects such as Hotels, Apartments and Warehouses with offices. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual looking to develop their career within the construction industry in an exciting, growing firm.
Role:
- Liaise with Directors, projects team, design team and subcontractors throughout the project.
- Plan and coordinate all site operations.
- Resource and schedule work and materials in line with construction program.
- Regular progress reporting.
- Maintain highest standards of health and safety.
- Maintain all site records, certs etc.
- Work closely with Contracts mangers, project managers and QS, advising on upcoming issues
Requirements:
- Commercial construction management/supervisory experience (+5 years)
- Internal refurbishment and fit out experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- Computer literate and experience with MS Office
- Good manager with motivational skills
- Independent and team worker, who leads by example
- Ideally, a background in carpentry
- Safe Pass (CSCS an advantage)
