Due to their continued growth, my client has an excellent opportunity for a Fire Engineer with 3-5+ years’ experience to join their well-established civil and structural engineering consultancy in either the Dublin or Portlaoise office.
The successful Fire Engineer will join the fire safety team which consists of experienced and dynamic professionals, dedicated to providing the best fire safety service for their clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Fire Engineer with a passion for fire safety engineering to gain practical experience and contribute to a variety of projects.

Current Projects:
- Multiple New Residential Developments 60-200 units – Value: €18M – €55M
- Data Centre (one of the largest in Europe) – Value: €750M
- Wastewater Treatment Plant façade design – Value: €140M
- Large amount of projects in the fire/damp/poor workmanship remedial design and build range from €200k- €10m across Ireland, the U.K. and Europe
- Leading experts in Pyrite, Mica
Responsibilities:
- Attending on-site meetings, client meetings and design team meetings.
- Preparing disability access applications for a range of buildings.
- On-site fire risk assessments and fire safety audits
- Fire safety building inspections.
Role / Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree (Level 8) in fire engineering.
- 3-5 years’ relevant experience.
- A strong interest in fire safety engineering and a desire to develop a career in this field.
- A strong legal understanding
- Have fluent English and have strong report writing skills
