A leading design consultany in Dublin are seeking motivated and detail-focused Fire Safety Engineers to join the growing team in their Dublin office.
Whether you’re a recent Fire Engineering graduate or a Fire Engineer with hands-on experience, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment where you’ll work on a diverse mix of high-impact projects across Ireland.
From transport, aviation, healthcare, educational, commercial and residential developments, you’ll contribute to shaping the fire safety standards across a broad range of public / private sector projects both office based and on site.
Duties include:
• Assist in the design and development of fire safety strategies for projects from concept to completion
• Conduct technical report writing, prepare and review fire safety drawings
• Carry out site inspections and fire risk assessments, including work under BC(A)R 2014 regulations
• Review contractor and design submissions to ensure fire compliance
• Support and mentor junior team members
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams throughout project lifecycles
Qualifications & Experience
• Degree level qualification in Fire Safety Engineering (or equivalent)
• Relevant post-graduate experience in consultancy or a similar environment
• Comfortable working independently and within a team
• Knowledgeable in Irish fire safety legislation, standards, and construction practices
• A clear communicator in both written and spoken English
• Able to manage time effectively across multiple projects
• Strong in client-facing settings and technical presentations
• Full driving licence and access to own transport is preferred
