Finishing Foreman required for a well-established main building contractor to work on an apartment block in North County Dublin. The successful Finishing foreman will have worked on apartments before, have a keen eye for detail and strong personnel management skills.
Required
- Ideally carpentry background
- Must have worked in a similar capacity for a Main Building Contractor or Developer in Ireland or the UK previously
- Strong communication skills
- Strong IT skills for reports
- Ability to lead a team
- The ability to work to tight deadlines
- Good eye for detail
- Previous experience as a Finishing Foreman
Role
- Attending weekly Management Team meeting for the Construction Team
- Maintaining the Site Diary – recording personnel levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities
- coordinating and managing of subcontractors
- Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of standards
- Ability to motivate labourers and sub-contractors
Package:
- Salary circa €65k-€75k
- Travel allowance / Company van
