Finishing Foreman – Wicklow (Residential)
Finishing Foreman required for a very well-established developer to work on a large housing project in Wicklow. The successful Finishing foreman will have worked on apartments or housing previously, have a keen eye for detail and strong personnel management skills. Our client has a very large land bank in this location so long term work can be expected here for at least 3+ years.
Responsibilities:
- Attending weekly Management Team meeting for the Construction Team
- Maintaining the Site Diary – recording personnel levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities
- coordinating and managing of subcontractors
- Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of standards
- Ability to motivate labourers and sub-contractors
Requirements:
- Ideally carpentry background
- Must have worked for a Main Building Contractor or Developer in Ireland or the UK previously
- The ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Strong IT skills for reports
- Ability to lead a team
- Good eye for detail
Package:
- Basic salary circa €70,000 – €80,000+
- Bonus (discretionary)
