Role Overview:
The Finishing Foreman will oversee all finishing stages of the project, ensuring that all works meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and client specifications. The individual will coordinate and supervise tradespeople, monitor progress, and ensure the site runs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage finishing trades and sub-contractors.
- Ensure the quality of work meets the developer’s high standards.
- Monitor project progress and adhere to deadlines.
- Coordinate with project managers and senior site staff.
- Conduct regular quality checks and resolve any issues.
- Manage health and safety compliance on site.
- Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of finishing processes and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple teams and tasks effectively.
- Relevant construction qualifications (CIF, trade qualifications, etc.).
- Previous experience with large-scale developments is desirable.
