Electrician – Smart Meter
One of Ireland’s largest power and energy contractors is seeking qualified Electricians to join their Smart Energy Services business unit, based in Cork. The successful candidate will support operations across the region, carrying out electrical upgrades to domestic electricity services as part of a long-term, stable contract.

Key Responsibilities/Duties
- Carry out electrical upgrades to domestic electricity services.
- Plan and execute site work in line with project plans and work packs.
- Engage professionally with householders, explaining the work being undertaken.
- Conduct site risk assessments and establish appropriate exclusion zones.
- Safely isolate and reinstate electrical supplies.
- Complete all works to a high standard within agreed timeframes.
- Test and verify all completed works to ensure compliance and functionality.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area to the customer’s satisfaction.
- Complete all required documentation via the computer/tablet system.
- Take full responsibility for Health & Safety on site.
Qualifications / Skills
- Level 6 Craft Certificate (Electrical).
- Apprentice trained Electrician.
- Full Category B Driving Licence.
- SafePass certification required.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
