Electrical Quantity Surveyor – 17428

Electrical Quantity Surveyor required to join one of Ireland’s largest M&E Engineering contractors at their office in Dublin. As part of the commercial team, you will be based in Ireland but will be supporting the delivery of Pharmaceutical, Semi-Conductor and Data Centre projects in Ireland and across Europe.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee contract compliance and advise the construction team accordingly.
- Identify potential commercial risks and promptly report them to management.
- Compile accurate monthly progress reports inclusive of various elements.
- Support procurement activities and contract management.
- Handle subcontractor accounts from award to final valuation.
- Manage project turnover, cash flow, and ensure accurate reporting.
- Analyse trends within the business and projects for reporting.
- Provide necessary data and risk analysis to management.
- Implement improved commercial processes and budgeting.
- Monitor Contract Programme/Schedule and report progress weekly.
- Review incoming correspondence for critical contractual items.
- Ensure Construction Team compliance with contractual requirements.
- Report in alignment with policies and highlight exceptions.
- Agree final accounts.
Requirements:
- A Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building Services.
- Minimum 4 Years’ experience in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of Electrical packages.
- Experience working on industrial projects would be advantageous (Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Semi-Conductor etc) largescale industrial projects.
- A proven working knowledge of current contract law.
- IT Skills – Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- The successful Electrical Quantity Surveyor must be in Ireland or the UK at present and eligible to work in Ireland without the need for a permit.
- Flexibility to travel to projects in Ireland and Mainland Europe (circa 1-3 days per month).
