Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Dublin (Hybrid)
Salary: €45,000 – €60,000 DOE
A leading international multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile, diverse projects across sectors such as workplace, healthcare, education, historic, leisure, and residential.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver innovative electrical building services design solutions from concept to handover.
- Work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams alongside architects, engineers, and designers.
- Support senior engineers in feasibility studies, option appraisals, scheme and detail design.
- Contribute to sustainable design strategies, renewable energy integration, and smart building solutions.
- Use front-end design tools and design within a Revit environment.
- Attend site inspections during construction to monitor progress and ensure design compliance.
- Maintain strong communication with clients and project stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Degree in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Chartered or Associate Engineering status (or working towards).
- Minimum 4 years’ Electrical Design experience, ideally within a consultancy environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services systems.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Dialux/Amtech, and general IT applications.
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects across a range of sectors and scales.
- Excellent communication, client-facing, and presentation skills.
- Results-driven with high professional integrity and a collaborative mindset.
