Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer – West Dublin
A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team in West Dublin. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver electrical designs with a focus on environmental performance and sustainability
- Incorporate daylight analysis, overheating risk, and other performance metrics into system design
- Collaborate with mechanical, public health, and sustainability teams for integrated building services solutions
- Maintain high standards in client engagement, design quality, and cost management
- Participate in design meetings, site inspections, and technical reviews
- Ensure alignment with company-wide design standards and best practices
Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in electrical design, ideally in building services
- Proficient in Revit BIM and familiar with performance analysis tools (IES, Dialux, Relux)
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate within multidisciplinary teams
- Working towards chartership is advantageous
- Full clean driving licence and access to transport
