EHS Lead (Construction)
A well-established and growing main contractor is seeking an experienced EHS Lead to play a key role in driving health, safety, environmental, and wellbeing standards across the business. This role is based working on projects across Dublin.
Role & Duties:
- Lead and promote a strong EHS culture across all sites.
- Drive continuous improvement of EHS systems and maintain ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 standards.
- Oversee PSDP/PSCS requirements, contractor compliance, and pre-qualification processes.
- Carry out site visits, audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Manage risk assessments, company risk register, and action tracking processes.
- Prepare monthly EHS performance reports and analyse project KPIs.
- Deliver safety training and provide technical guidance to site teams.
- Collaborate with HR and ESG teams to support wellbeing and safety initiatives.
- Mentor and support EHS Officers across the business.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (NFQ Level 7+).
- 5–8 years’ experience in a senior EHS role within the construction industry.
- Experience managing ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001 systems.
- PSDP/PSCS qualification (desirable).
- Strong communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving ability.
- Confident delivering training and reporting on EHS performance.
- Full clean driving licence.
Salary & Package:
- €75k-€85k (depending on experience)
