EHS Advisor
The EHS Advisor will oversee all EHS activities across projects, providing guidance to Project Managers, supervisors, and workers, and reporting key matters to the Project Manager. The role will be based in Limerick with frequent travel and occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities
- Provide advice, guidance, and training on all EHS matters to management, employees, sub-contractors, suppliers and visitors.
- Lead by example, demonstrating proactive behaviour in all EHS-related activities.
- Identify training needs, prepare and deliver EHS training and maintain training records.
- Conduct audits and inspections of projects, developing and monitoring corrective and preventive action plans.
- Report business EHS risks, KPIs, and trends, recommending constructive actions for continuous improvement.
- Ensure incidents are reported, investigated, and documented thoroughly to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain up-to-date site EHS Plans, Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS), and associated documents, ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.
- Support the preparation of project-specific EHS Plans, inductions, and RAMS in conjunction with the site management team.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar EHS role within relevant industries (construction, electrical, mechanical, or CSA preferred).
- Familiarity with Construction Regulations, CDM roles, and sub-contractor management.
- Experience with EHS management systems, ISO standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001), safety schemes, and tendering processes (e.g., Achilles, SSiPs).
- Diploma (NFQ Level 8) in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Certificate (NFQ Level 6) in Environmental Management.
- Safe Pass / CSCS (UK), Train the Trainer, First Aid, Training Instructor certifications.
- Internal ISO 14000 and ISO 45000 system auditor.
- IOSH membership or equivalent.
