Design Manager (Datacentre)
A Tier 1 Main Building Contractor is seeking a Design Manager to join their DC team in Dublin. With a robust project pipeline for their busiest year yet, our client is delivering diverse developments nationwide, including with large scale resi projects and major datacentre projects in Ireland UK and Mainland Europe. We are looking for a Design Manager with strong contractor experience with at least a few years in the datacentre environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Design Director
- Manage the submission and approval process for designs and materials, securing client approvals.
- Proactively address potential design risks by collaborating with the Design Team to devise solutions.
- Create forward-looking project plans.
- Coordinate with project management teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Demonstrate strong scheduling and program management abilities.
- Participate in site meetings, providing updates on project progress.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Design management experience with a main contractor or developer is ideal, though candidates from architectural practices or design firms with relevant skills will be considered.
- Background in data centers or industrial projects
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary range of approximately €90,000–€95,000.
