Design Coordinator
We are seeking a Design Coordinator for a Tier 1 construction company, based in our client’s Galway regional office. Our client is a renowned leader in the field, specializing in the design, manufacture, and installation of 2D panelised and 3D volumetric modular structures. With a history of surpassing expectations and over 30 years of experience in off-site construction, our client is committed to delivering exceptional standards. As a key member of their design team, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of design-related information necessary for successful on-site project execution.
Role:
- Ensure comprehensive consideration of health, safety, environmental, and quality aspects in design.
- Provide input for the selection of design sub-contractors.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to finalize long lead items according to the project schedule.
- Assist CM/QS in verifying compatibility between Employers Requirements and Cost Proposals.
- Chair and document Design meetings, ensuring the timely production of information in line with the design program.
Requirements:
- A third level qualification in Architectural Technology or similar field
- 2+ years of work experience in a construction team or manufacturing industry
- Familiarity with various client procurement routes.
- Proficient in the use of design software like Revit or similar tools.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to plan, program, and manage workloads, coupled with understanding of site/contract procedures, building regulations, planning permission processes, time management, and commercial awareness.
Salary:
