Construction Foreman

A Construction Foreman is required for a leading Building Contractor to work on residential projects in Dublin.

Duties:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the construction crew, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Provide guidance to the team, delegate tasks, and monitor progress.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and implement schedules and plans.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and adjust schedules where necessary.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of construction materials, equipment, and tools.
  • Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, conducting toolbox talks and safety meetings.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience working as a Construction Foreman, preferably on residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
  • Thorough understanding of safety regulations and proven ability to enforce compliance.
  • Proficiency in interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
