Construction Foreman
A Construction Foreman is required for a leading Building Contractor to work on residential projects in Dublin.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the construction crew, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Provide guidance to the team, delegate tasks, and monitor progress.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and implement schedules and plans.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and adjust schedules where necessary.
- Manage and maintain inventory of construction materials, equipment, and tools.
- Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, conducting toolbox talks and safety meetings.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience working as a Construction Foreman, preferably on residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Thorough understanding of safety regulations and proven ability to enforce compliance.
- Proficiency in interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
