Our client is a rapidly growing Civil Engineering Contractor and are seeking a Commercial Manager to join their team in Kildare. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of the business, including sales, and business development. The Commercial Manager will work closely with the senior management team to develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement commercial strategies to increase revenue and profitability
– Manage a team of Quantity Surveyors
– Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients
– Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy
– Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers
– Provide regular reports on commercial performance to senior management
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or similar role within the Construction Industry
– Strong understanding of commercial principles and practices
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills
– Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity
– Strong leadership and team management skills
– Bachelor’s degree in business, business management or a similar degree
Package
– Salary circa €100,000 – €120,000
