Commercial Claims Manager
Our client, a leading construction company, is expanding its Commercial Assurance team and is seeking an experienced Commercial Claims Manager. In this role, you will report directly to the Commercial Assurance Director. As part of our client’s growth initiative, the Commercial Claims Manager will take on the responsibility of managing commercial claims for a variety of projects in both the building and civil engineering sectors in Ireland. Responsibilities:
- Providing commercial, contractual, and claims advice to Operations Directors, Project Directors, and project teams to optimize project returns.
- Collaborating with bid, commercial, project, operations, and finance teams to implement and manage commercial policies and procedures effectively.
- Reviewing major contracts in the building and civil engineering sectors to identify and communicate risks and mitigation strategies.
- Handling management changes in project procedures, cost management, claims and variations, as well as negotiation and settlement of disputes with owners and subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Completed a third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- 5+ years of senior commercial claims experience with a major contractor in the construction industry.
- Experience in reviewing and identifying risks in claims, contracts, and legal contract types.
- Excellent communication skills with extensive reporting experience.
Package:
- €90k-€100k
- 26+ days of annual leave.
