Commercial Administrator – (Dublin)

A Commercial Administrator is required by a leading civil and utilities contractor to support major water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the Dublin region. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join an established team delivering essential upgrades to Ireland’s water network.

The successful commercial administrator will play a key role in supporting the commercial and project management teams with contract administration, cost control, procurement, and reporting activities. This role would suit someone with previous experience in construction administration, commercial support, or document control within a civils or utilities environment.

Duties:
• Provide administrative and commercial support to project and commercial managers across multiple water infrastructure projects.
• Assist with the preparation and management of subcontractor and supplier documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, and payment applications.
• Support the tracking of project costs, budgets, and forecasts.
• Maintain accurate records of commercial correspondence, variations, and change orders.
• Coordinate procurement and materials tracking with project teams.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly progress reports and commercial submissions.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual requirements, and client documentation standards.
• Support audits and quality assurance checks as required.

Requirements:
• Previous experience in a commercial administration or project support role within the construction or utilities sector.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and document management systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a busy team.
• Familiarity with water or utilities infrastructure projects is an advantage but not essential.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop within a commercial function.

Salary & Benefits:
• Salary circa €40–50K, depending on experience.
