Clerk of Works required to join a leading Building & Civils Contractor in Cork for Munster Bridges maintenance contracts. The contract involves the routine maintenance of 639no. bridges on National Roads in Munster.
Role:
- Visit bridge sites to monitor & Supervise gangs
- Control Quality
- Interact with H&S personnel to ensure works are being carried out in a safe manner
- Liaise with the Project Manager for controlling productivity & programme
- Interact with Client’s personnel
- Assist Project Manager in preparing monthly reports
- Booking Road space on TII’s Road Booking Portal
- Assist project manager in planning the works
Requirements:
- At least 2 years recent experience on Civil Engineering projects in Ireland or the UK (mandatory)
- Knowledge of quality and health and safety
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Salary
- Salary circa €50k – €55k DOE
