Our client, a leading civil contractor based in Dublin, is seeking an experienced Civils Foreman to join their team on a project based in South Dublin. The role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations on site, managing teams, and ensuring the smooth delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of operatives and subcontractors on site.
- Oversee the implementation of the project plan and ensure work is carried out in accordance with the project specifications and safety standards.
- Ensure that the site runs efficiently and productively while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Liaise with senior management, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and coordination on the project.
- Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly adhered to.
- Conduct regular site inspections and manage project timelines to ensure milestones are met.
- Prepare reports on site progress and communicate any potential issues or delays.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Foreman in civil engineering projects.
- Proven experience managing teams and supervising on-site operations.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and site management practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
