Excellent opportunity for a Civil Technician to develop their career in marine & civil infrastructure in Ireland!
Civil Technician required to join a leading Marine & Civil Engineering Consultancy in Ireland. This is an office-based role offering exposure to technically challenging and unique marine infrastructure projects across Ireland. The successful Civil Technician will support experienced engineers on the design and documentation of a range of civil and structural works including quay walls, piers, jetties, breakwaters, retaining walls and associated infrastructure.
Sample Projects:
- Coastal defence and quay wall upgrades across Ireland – values €5M–€50M+
- Port infrastructure expansions and marine civil works
- Refurbishment and strengthening of existing marine and civil structures
- Urban waterway and marine public realm enhancement projects
Requirements:
- Civil Engineering Technician qualification or equivalent.
- 2–5 years’ experience in civil / structural design office in Ireland
- Strong AutoCAD skills. Experience with Civil 3D / Revit / MicroStation is a bonus.
- Good understanding of civil infrastructure, detailing and documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a collaborative team.
- A proactive approach and eagerness to develop your technical skillset.
Salary / Benefits:
- Excellent salary circa €35K – 45K (DOE) plus benefits
