I am currently recruiting a junior civil / structural engineer for one of my clients, a medium sized engineering consultancy with offices in Dublin, Waterford and Galway. This role is for their Waterford office. This consultancy prides itself on providing excellent Civil and Structural Engineering services for clients in both the public and private sectors. This client’s portfolio includes large-scale residential, commercial and datacentre projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior engineer who is looking for a company to help them gain chartership with a clear career plan. You will gain well-rounded experience on a range of projects.
CANDIDATES MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN AN IRISH ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY / HAVE GRADUATED FROM AN IRISH UNIVERSITY.

Role / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering from an Irish university.
- Masters degree would offer an advantage, but is not essential
- Recently graduated – 3 years’ experience in an Irish engineering consultancy
- The successful civil / structural engineer will have strong experience in concrete and steel design and careful attention to detail.
- Familiar with Eurocodes/ British Standards.
- Experience with Masterseries / Tekla structural designer would offer a distinct advantage
- Organised approach to problem solving and a willingness to explore new opportunities.
- Ideally have a driving licence.
