A well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their growing team in Ireland.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected consultancy with a strong reputation across Ireland and the UK, working on a wide range of residential and infrastructure projects. The role offers real scope to take ownership, mentor junior staff and play a key role in the continued growth of the Irish business – with the added flexibility of fully remote working available.
Projects:
- Residential and mixed-use development projects of varying scale
- Stormwater, foul drainage and watermain design schemes
- Roads and infrastructure design for housing and urban developments
- Multidisciplinary projects across civil and structural engineering
- Both greenfield and brownfield development projects
Role:
- Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering projects from concept through to completion
- Develop design solutions for drainage, roads and utilities infrastructure
- Prepare calculation packages and technical documentation
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians
- Attend and lead client, design team and site meetings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated design delivery
- Support business growth through client interaction and project delivery
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering (Level 8 or higher)
- 5+ years’ experience in civil design within the Irish market
- Ideal candidate will be working towards chartership (Engineers Ireland or Institution of Civil Engineers)
- Strong experience in drainage (storm/foul), watermains and road design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; experience with Infodrainage beneficial
- Experience preparing detailed design calculations and reports
Salary & Benefits:
- €50,000 – €60,000 DOE
- Fully remote working available (or office based role if office days are preferred)
