A well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil / Water Engineer to join their growing team in Cork!
This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-impact water and wastewater infrastructure projects that support major national development and sustainability initiatives. The successful candidate will gain strong technical exposure across the full project lifecycle, working closely with experienced senior engineers while building valuable client and site experience.
Projects:
- Water and wastewater treatment plant upgrade and capacity improvement schemes
- Trunk watermain and distribution network design projects
- Wastewater pumping station design and rehabilitation works
- Design–build utilities and civil infrastructure developments
Role:
- Contribute to the design and delivery of civil and water infrastructure projects from concept through to construction
- Prepare engineering drawings, technical specifications and reports in line with relevant design standards
- Support project coordination activities including programme tracking, stakeholder communication and progress reporting
- Work within a design–build environment, developing practical and buildable engineering solutions
- Carry out site visits, inspections and feasibility assessments as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 3+ years’ experience in civil infrastructure design (water / wastewater experience advantageous)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential – experience with Civil 3D pipe networks beneficial
- Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within project teams and across remote offices
Salary & Benefits:
- €45,000 – €55,000 DOE
