Civil Engineer – Immediate Start
A leading energy contractor is seeking a Civil Engineer to join a team working on the construction of a 220Kv substation aligned to a data center in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineer with substation experience to play a key role in delivering a critical infrastructure project. The role will be mainly site-based, with the office located in Dublin City.
Duties:
- Supervise and manage civil works on site for the 220Kv substation project.
- Ensure construction quality and compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and the project management team to maintain project progress.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring construction activities.
- Maintain site records and prepare regular progress reports.
- Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations.
- Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Previous experience working on substations or high-voltage infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of civil works associated with substation construction.
- Familiarity with health & safety regulations in construction.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in English and eligible to work in Ireland.
- Full driving licence.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: €60,000–€70,000 depending on experience.
