Opportunity for n experienced Civil Engineer to join a leading Irish multidisciplinary engineering consultancy. This practice has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality engineering and project management services across a wide range of projects. Projects include large Infrastructure, Industrial, Commercial, and Local Authority developments.

- State of the art office development in Dublin – Value: €54m
- Airport development projects – Value: €18m
- 200-unit, 3 storey apartment block – Value: €60m
- 12,000 capacity sports facility – Value: €60m
Role:
- The successful Design Engineer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing preliminary and detailed designs, drawings, and technical reports.
- Assist in the procurement of site investigations, tender documentation, and contract administration.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and senior engineers to ensure designs are delivered on time and within budget.
- Liaise directly with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve design queries and progress projects.
- Opportunity to mentor junior engineers and review their work, supporting their technical development.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
- 2 + years’ experience in civil design, ideally with experience on Irish projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, with a willingness to develop skills in AutoCAD 3D / BIM (Revit experience desirable).
- Knowledge of MicroDrainage, MS Project, and/or GIS software (ArcGIS, MapInfo) desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proactive, team-focused approach.
- Must be already based in Ireland and available to start without the need for relocation or visa processing.
